| This new film by Roger Weisberg (producer of Sound & Fury) profiles three teenagers who "age out" of the child welfare system and discover that they are on their own. Daniella juggles her college career while raising her newborn child. Risa graduates with several scholarships but suffers an emotional breakdown in college. And David goes on a drug and crime binge, then moves to Alaska to become a fisherman. Despite the struggles they face, these extraordinary young people use the resiliency they developed during their years in the child welfare system to take control of their lives. | |||
