	Travis documents three years in the complex life of Travis Jeffries, a vital child born with full-blown AIDS, who with the help of an experimental drug therapy and his grandmother’s love and support, struggles to survive and pursue a happy life. Travis has the strength of someone beyond his years to endure the pain of physical discomfort and the torment of being trapped indoors unable to play with friends. His drug-addicted mother visits him but provides no support. A dedicated group of caregivers keep his spirits up. On his ninth birthday Travis celebrates living five years longer than he had been told he ever would.
